Kenna started her position at Thurston Conservation District in September 2024 as a Natural Resource Specialist. Prior to this, Kenna worked as a resource technician at Lewis Conservation District for five years. She has a passion for working with farmers to promote conservation practices and soil health.

Kenna was raised on her family Christmas Tree farm in Rochester along the Chehalis River, where she began her love for nature and agriculture. She attended Saint Martin’s University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology while working as a laboratory assistant. After college, Kenna went on to complete an internship with the Emerging Professionals in Conservation Program with ACE (American Conservation Experience).

In her free time, Kenna loves painting, gardening, and hiking around the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
